The benefits of car clubs and lift-sharing
March's Members' Session heard presentations from Lifeshare's Dave Kinnaird & Carplus' Matt Eastwood on the role of lift-sharing and car clubs, respectively, in sustainable transport. Their presentations are available below:
While it's clear that both of these approaches to 'sharing' in transport represent some of the best value in traffic reduction and reducing emissions, the challenge seems to be to get them the profile -- and the investment -- that they so obviously deserve.
